Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of DeskFlow, a product of Codist (Pty) Ltd ("Codist," "we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account or using DeskFlow, you agree to these Terms.
1. The Service
DeskFlow is an IT service management platform providing ticketing, asset management, and related tools for businesses, delivered as a subscription service ("Service").
2. Accounts
You must provide accurate information when creating an account and are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use DeskFlow to:
- Violate any applicable law or regulation
- Transmit unlawful, harmful, or abusive content
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its underlying systems
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service
- Use the Service to send unsolicited bulk messages or spam via any connected channel, including WhatsApp
Use of WhatsApp-based features must also comply with Meta's WhatsApp Business Messaging Policy and Commerce Policy. Violation of Meta's policies through your use of DeskFlow's WhatsApp integration may result in suspension of that feature.
4. Subscription and Billing
Fees are billed as described on our pricing page or in your order form, in South African Rand, and are subject to change with notice. Contact us for current plan details if you are entering a commercial agreement outside the self-service pricing shown on the website.
5. Data Ownership
You retain ownership of the data you submit to DeskFlow ("Customer Data"). We process Customer Data solely to provide the Service, as described in our Privacy Policy.
6. Third-Party Integrations
DeskFlow can connect to third-party services you choose to enable (e.g. WhatsApp, Slack, Microsoft services, Freshdesk). We are not responsible for the availability, security, or practices of third-party services, which are governed by their own terms.
7. Intellectual Property
DeskFlow, including its software, design, and branding, is the property of Codist (Pty) Ltd. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our intellectual property except the limited right to use the Service as intended.
8. Termination
You may cancel your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, or for other reasonable business or legal reasons, with notice where practicable.
9. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided "as is." To the fullest extent permitted by law, Codist disclaims all warranties, express or implied, and shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time, posting the revised version with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
